Hey guys,
Getting mixed messages online about whether the 8BitDo SN30 2.4g for the SNES Classic works with Wii U games that support the Classic controller. I see some people say that it works but others that it connects but has non functional buttons and input lag. The connector is the same so it should work in theory but wondering what people’s experiences are. 8BitDo officially says it’s not compatible but I found some online anecdotal evidence that it has worked for some.
Edit/Update: I just bought a GBA virtual console game to try it out and it seems to connect but the odd thing is that it doesn’t work with a classic Wii remote, only the black motion plus one. I saw someone on Reddit say this and was skeptical but that seems to pan out. Has anyone else noticed this? I still don’t know how it’ll work in the long run in terms of having full functionality and no input lag, so feedback on others’ experiences is still appreciated!
