This part for some reason scared me, shadow Mario is my childhood trauma and the funky music and the eeriness of the paint world made me run out of the living room into my older sisters room. And it always relieved me when Mario was sleeping there because he was relaxed and not scared, so that made me less scared to do it. That was until my friend at lunch said if you die at that part, shadow Mario possesses you and kills all of delfino square with his paint brush which turns into a knife. I was so scared of dying, that when I did I ran to my GameCube and pulled the power chord on it, no picking it up until tomorrow. Playing it again brings back memories oh man!
