/r/Nintendo is seeking new moderators! Apply within.

Hello everyone! The moderator team is currently seeking a few new mods to help out on /r/Nintendo.

We're primarily looking for people who can be familiar with our rules, answer modmail, and approve or remove submissions. There will be other ways to help the community too, but our main priority right now is better, faster, consistent communication with users, and better coverage around the clock. Given our current time-zone coverage, higher preference will be given to non-US timezones (but any timezones are still encouraged to apply!). Successful applicants will need to use the mod toolbox browser extension, as well as be active in our mod Discord in order to discuss subreddit decisions.

Our moderation team is a close group of friends who do this because they care about the community and each other. This is a volunteer gig. We do not get paid, we do not have any communication with Nintendo, and we do not have a treasure trove of secret insider information. Our biggest rewards have been friendships among a diverse team of different backgrounds, and an opportunity to contribute to, and witness the growth of, a wonderful and well-curated subreddit. In our opinion, that is absolutely worth it.

If interested, please fill out the google form found here: https://forms.gle/VnhBsGXNHXRoWULh7

We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis until we fill the available positions. If this post is still up, it means we're still looking.

Best wishes, and remember to always wear your Joy-Con wrist strap!
