In Super Smash Bros. there have been characters that have a rather low amount of games. Mother series aside (which is a can of worms to open for another thread), here I'm thinking that character like R.O.B., the Ice Climbers, and Mr. Game & Watch should have more games, in a modern take like Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Ideas over how they would work, I can see the Ice Climbers in a 2D platformer, much like the New Super Mario games, although it would be nice to see the game in a 2.5D plane, much like the recent Donkey Kong Country games. And yes, I want them to collect important items for a 100% run.
R.O.B.'s games on the NES were more puzzles, if I'm not mistaken. I'm thinking making R.O.B.'s new game a platformer, with the his skills from Super Smash Bros. present in the game as well. I think as a 3D platformer would be nice, with the developers finding a way to not make it too similar to the Mario 3D games. It's own unique flavor, I must say.
Now, Mr. Game & Watch... What to do with you? Nearly all the Game & Watch consoles were mini-games, with the goal having a high score. I don't know which route they would go with Mr. Game & Watch if they were to make a game starring him. It should be long, enough to have like four days to complete the game, but that's just me.
With that said, do you agree that these guys should have another shot?
