Erasing them from history makes it so it never happened so games inspired by the franchise or genres the franchise pioneered wouldn't exist.
For example if I erased Earthbound from History Undertale never would have happened, so choose carefully.
Nintendo's currently alive Franchises (not counting spin-offs or crossovers) seem to be
- Super Mario
- The Legend of Zelda
- Pokemon
- Kirby
- Metroid
- Animal Crossing
- Fire Emblem
- Xenoblade
- Pikmin
- Donkey Kong
- Splatoon
- Star Fox (alive by a thread)
- Rhythm Heaven (also alive by a thread)
- Bayonetta (even though it's technically a SEGA franchise Nintendo treats it as it's own at this point)
I've Decided to not include franchises that are dead (F-zero, Earthbound, Golden Sun, Chibi-Robo), only have 1 entry (ARMS, Astral Chain, Ring-fit) or are super niche even if they do get games because by proxy everybody would chose those (Box Boy!, Famicom detective club remakes coming out in japan)
