I have always loved that game and the unique format it presented, and for many years, I have wished Nintendo would make a new game with that style in mind. You could argue that it was originally Doki Doki Panic in Japan, but then I'd argue back that many staple mario enemies, like Shy Guys, Pokies, and Bob-Ombs first showed up in that game, so it can't be an issue of copyright or franchise conflict, especially since Doki Doki Panic has never seen another release or sequel in history to my knowledge.
Then I just love Wart. I wish Wart would make a comeback too, and maybe even the other bosses.
I feel like Nintendo is ignoring a massive opportunity by not making another game with the Mario 2 formula/setting/bosses. What do you guys think?
