So I've Just received my switch back from Nintendo Repairs after a month of waiting for it to be repaired and the issue isn't fixed, despite the fact they said it was.
Yeah the Joycon drift has been fixed (though it's a joke that happened in the first place) but the main issue I was having where the console won't stay reliably connected to the TV and keeps randomly disconnecting is still happening.
I had played Minecraft on it for less than 30 minutes today before it disconnected itself from the TV, whilst in the dock, and wouldn't reconnect again. This is the exact problem that I sent it off for repair for and that they claimed was repaired with a software update.
As far as Nintendo were confirmed "no problems" with the dock and their "fix" for the switch itself clearly hasn't worked at all, so has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? I tried the hard reset trick I'd seen suggested online, but it works for about 10 minutes then disconnects again so it doesn't fix the issue.
The only other thing that had changed before the issue started was that I installed an SD card - could this be causing it?
I'm really reluctant to send it back to Nintendo after they've already failed to see the issue once and given how long it takes. I'm really unimpressed with them right now.
