"The Lost Wolves" is a fan made episodic series that focuses on non-canon events post Halo Reach's story. Stranded on the wasteland of Reach, Jeta Team now faces impossible odds of survival in the wake of the Covenant's most lethal cleanup crew. The next episode has started development, will be longer, more story rich, and will likely release in April 2020. ► What is the purpose of Episode 0? Episode 0 is considered a "Pilot", meaning this episode is purposed to collect feedback and make any last minute changes to story, voice actors, names, etc., before the story really kicks off in Episode 1. Writing a solid script for this episode was of low importance, due to my eagerness to get started animating and take on Reach's run and gun cinematography and vibe, although also bringing a thriller, and action element to it not seen before in Halo. The core of the series is represented in this episode; action, mystery, exploration, survival, nontraditional combat seen in Halo, tension and a cinematic aura. Episode 0 was technically an experiment, but even then, there is room for improvement. Despite what it appear like, I am actually NOT interested in doing what I think Bungie would do with Reach 2, that would uninspired and dull. But, I hope for this series to be a balance between what made Reach magnificent, while introducing really fun "what if" situations. Such as, challenging notions of what a Spartan would or would not do, what the Covenant is capable of, the importance of non-gun combat in a sci-fi universe, and what a fan series can actually be when someone has a budget, time, inspiration, and a platform to share it on! I feel incredibly to animate, write, and develop this series for the channel! ► Fun fact/s about this Episode -This episode started production on January 31st.
