How Fake Companies are Stealing Millions from YouTubers.
This video highlights many of the issues content creators face with the YouTube copyright system and how it's being exploited by some companies in order to steal revenue from content creators. Some companies actively claim video game soundtracks that they don't own the rights to in order to collect revenue from videos with youtube's automated content ID system. For example I have personally received a copyright claim for the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim soundtrack from multiple different companies that do not hold the license to make such claims. These false claims happen repeatedly, often from the same companies but yet these companies receive no lash back for abusing the YouTube copyright system. I also share examples where YouTube has instantly blocked and demonitised my videos that have millions of views instantly without me having any right to appeal, the dispute process assumes guilty until proven innocent.
