Nintendo’s Indie Studio Relations
Question: What indie studios do you think Nintendo has the best relationships with? I was at the store and noticed Nintendo had several download codes for indie games sitting with their 1st party games. I recognized all of them like, Undertale, Stardew, Hollow Knight, and Cuphead. (I can’t remember the last 2 games I saw so it’s up to your imagination.) I was wondering if anyone had an inside scoop on these relationships and why these Indie Games got the retail download code treatment.
This next part isn’t a question, just wishful thinking. I bring up this question, because ever since playing Hollow Knight a year back, I’ve always have wanted The Knight for smash, in some form, whether it be through an actual fighter or Mii Skin. All the other Nintendo indie games I saw at the store have been incorporated into smash, and it’s probably due to the close relationship they have with Nintendo (excluding Stardew, which isn’t in smash.) Hollow Knight has had no smash activity yet, and unlike Stardew, he feels and looks like he should be in a fighting game.
To wrap this all up, I’m not asking for people to just tell me Hollow Knight is unreasonable, I just want the insiders scoop on Nintendo relations with their Indie Studio partners, and what paths they open up. Thank you for your time :)

Here was an idea I came up of a Sonic Mania style Mario game (by that I mean a classic Mario game complete with Classic style graphics)
So I decided to redo my post from last night after seeing the comments and see it removed by the moderators :( , also I was to lazy to use capitol letters (why do they want me to use them) , anyway I'm going to start, so the art style would have gotten the early 90s promotion style (example: Super Mario World Box art) and have different characters to play as, Bowser included as I was thinking of a new villain. anyway here is the list of characters along with their movesets
Mario- His classic moveset, maybe with wall kick (I need criticism on all this)
Luigi- He gets the flutter jump but won't be slippery
Wario- I was thinking of his Wario Land 4 moveset or something similar
Waluigi (I actually like the character, screw the memes)- he will be faster than Wario and have a slide kick
DK and Diddy- So i think people don't want him in a main Mario game because he pretty much is now his own character (I guess), I think it would be an interesting idea, anyway maybe you can switch between DK and Diddy and maybe have the same moveset from the DKC game
Bowser- He'd probably get a beat em up style moveset
Bowser Jr.- Clown cart for him to move around in and maybe have his paintbrush
anyway that's all I have to say, Like I said, Nintendo won't really do something like this but I wanted to share this online and see what people would think, anyway I hope I don't get panned in the head for basically reposting last nights post. (maybe I shouldn't have done it)

The My Nintendo Store is an absolute nightmare
The European one, at least.
Come on, Nintendo, get with the times!
So I was about to get some of that Mario 35 merch before it disappears in a few days, but my god is the online Nintendo Store primitive.
My biggest issue is that they only accept credit card. Not even PayPal. I'm 19, don't have a credit card and I'm not planning to get one any time soon. Most of, if not all my online purchases I easily do with PayPal, but I guess I gotta ask my parents if they can buy Nintendo stuff for me.
And when I'm buying €100 in clothes, you can't even throw a bone and ship it for free? I'm sure you made plenty of profit off of my order already. It's not that much extra, but c'mon man.
The promo code field taunted me when checking out, and I remembered there's a bunch of free stuff you can get with the platinum points, except you can only insert one code per order. Will I go for the nice posters, the reusable acnh bag, the weird little pouch they just added... Why I gotta choose? Why can't I redeem them all? If I want them all I will need to order them separately, each with their own extra shipping costs. It's just not user and eco-friendly.
Anyway, rant over. If you need me, I'll be playing a lousy, needlessly exclusive collection of games I payed too much for, which I probably could've emulated for free. Sucked in again...

Regarding the Wave 2 Mario pin set from My Nintendo...
Was the date date for entry extended and more pins made? I figured when the time came to order them and I was 1 mission short I would have lost my chance... but I just did a new mission and got my code and pins are now ordered... I'm so confused.
