2 weeks ago despite having the ability to get the Nintendo Switch, I chose the Nintendo Switch Lite. Despite all the complains I've heard from people (especially about Joycon drifting) I still decided to get it. I love it. I have a three year old sister who loves to touch things in my room when I'm at the store,using the bathroom,etc. and not being able to lose the joycon controllers is a huge pro for me. Also, if I were to get the other Switch, I would most likely have to put in on my tv, or buy extra joycons so that my sister can feel included. Due to my love for handhelds (Huge Handheld freak; wish PlayStation would make another PSP catered to PS5 games in the future but the chances are slim) I love the Switch Lite even more. The only issues I have with it is the storage and the lack of touch screen. I mean I find it crazy that for something you must always hold, there's a lack of touchscreen use for games like Botw, Animal Crossing, and ESPECIALLY Pokemon. And to be honest I kind of wish the Switch Lite was declared the next handheld for Nintendo sionce I can see a more optimal version of it can thrive in today's society which lacks handhelds such as the PSP. I loved the NDS and 3DS but a handheld that's shaped like the switch would be preferable for the future.
